BIG 45 today

I can't believe I am 45 today. I remember being 20 and saying how old 45 was. Now I think 90 is old. LOL.

I had a great day yesterday. I went with a friend to a crop. Peggy over at http://icrea8cards.blogspot.com/, took the day off from work and celebrate our birthdays doing something we both love and that was to scrapbook. Tammy the store owner is also celebrating her birthday this month (actually we both share the same day). We bought a cake and everyone at the store, even shoppers sang Happy Birthday to us 3.

Some Bunny LOVES You

I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday so far. I know it is kind of early for you all, but not for me. I am up at 5:15am every morning with my husband. Once he leaves for work I stay in my craft room to read emails, watch videos and comment on peoples blogs. This morning was no different, except for I started a new layout. I am hooked again on layouts. I started this layout yesterday and finished it last night.
I will name it, Some Bunny LOVES You. What do you guys think? The little girl and the bunny's are paper pieced.

I am off to a crop with some friends to celebrate our Birthdays. The store owner Tammy and Peggy's birthday are today and mine is tomorrow, so we are having lunch and a cake.

Easter layout

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.

During the week I worked on organizing my craft room and did shop one day at TJ Maxx and Big lots. But most was shopping online, especially ebay. They are going to literally kill me when they get the bill next month. Only thing that may save me is that my birthday is wednesday. LOL. I did work on a paper piecing layout and make some more stick pins. I can't stop. HELP. I don't know how many more my house can hold. LOL. Next stop the bathrooms. Thankfully I have 3.

Here is the layout I just finished for Easter. It is my first for 2012. I pieced each of the chickens and cut the eggs out with my cricut.

I will be back with another layout I am working on.

Easter decorations

I am so happy Spring is finally here. Love this time of the year. All the flowers are blooming and gardens are looking happy.

The bottom pictures are at my dining room table. I bought the dishes at a garage sale. The dishes are about 30 years old. It is a set for 8 people and none of them are broken, cracked or chipped. Perfect setting and colors for Spring.

some goodies

hello everyone. I have been busy with house stuff. I am having some new cabinets put in the laundry room and some new shelves put in my closet for my shoes. also have been busy in the yard, gardening.

Then I also purchased these at a local warehouse. Chan's. There website is www.chansilkflowers.com. Each package brings 144 flowers. I put a dime next to them so that you could see the sizes. They also have the buckles in different sizes and in metal and plastic. They have some really nice flowers. Just go and check out their website.

weekend

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have had a great weekend. Lets start off with Friday. I went to a crop from 2pm to 2am. I had a great time with Peggy over at http://icrea8cards.blogspot.com/. Then Saturday morning at about 6am I was up after only 3 hours of sleep, to go to garage sales. I found this really nice lamp for my scrap room and a big bag of tiny key charms. I also found these 2 adorable heart shaped plates. There were some really nice things in some of the sales but not stuff that I needed or wanted. After garage sales we had some lunch and off to the nursery to buy some plants. Worked in the yard for about 4 hours. Then just relaxed at home. Sunday morning I left early in the morning to pick my mom up and my oldest daughter. We went to crackle barrel for breakfast. Then we went to the mall and bought a couple of things for the house. Spending time with my oldest daughter was very nice for a change. We have had lots of ups and downs and now we finally can be in a room, car and not get into a discussion for lack of better words. Since she is in school in the mornings and then she works at nights and weekends it is difficult to see her.
That was my weekend. I hope you all had a great one as well.

I leave you now with some of the pictures of what I bought and 2 layouts I did last night.

 I made this flower by just cutting 1/2 inch strips of the same paper left over and folded them. Then I hot glued them in place and added a button to the center.

These layouts are not what I normally do, but as I was cooking the dogs food I was browsing through a magazine and really liked 2 layouts, so I decided to try it. I did change a couple of things but  did scrap lift the idea.
