Baby Carriage

Hope everyone is having a great hump day. Thankfully it is not raining anymore. Yesterday was horrible. It rained from about 12pm to 7pm. The lightning and thundering was horrible. Our lights went out but thankfully only for a few minutes. I did nothing but cook all day. Poor hubby went to jury duty and was not home until 6:30pm. We ate and watched TV. That's all.

Today I have been busy with my cleaning, but I did want to share the mini album I finished last week on Thursday. I had left it to do when I was at the crop but since I had other things I wanted to do, I decided to finish it on Thursday.

Here it is:

Hope you all like it.

3 day crop

Well I have survived the 3 day crop celebrating National Scrap booking Day. It was so much fun and I want to give a big Thank You to Peggy over at http://icrea8cards.blogspot.com/. If it was not for her harassing me and pushing me to go I would have missed out on a great 3 day adventure. So Thank you Ms Peggy Sue.
The crop was Friday from 10am to 3am, Saturday from 10am to 3am and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. We did stay for the most part but since I was driving back and forth and I am about 45 to 50 minutes away I decided to leave a little earlier each day. Sunday I did go at about 11am and left at 3pm to be able to watch the Heat game.
First I will show yo pictures of ladies that I sat with and met for the first time.
 This is Caroline.
 Here is Barbara.
 This is Eva.
And this is Jane. She was sitting next to me and was so super sweet. They were all super sweet and nice. We all worked on different things and had different styles but we all seemed to have helped each other.

And here is Ms Peggy.

Cutting away using the cricut .
And of course I had to take this shot of her with the atg gun. Is she not the funniest?

Ok, here is an overall picture of the crop area.

So what did I work on you may want to know.

I worked on several things. I did finish the crown princess mini album but have not taken the pictures. I will share that tomorrow. Sorry forgot and I was already loading the other pictures.

 Raggedy Ann and Andy
Boys layout, why you may ask if I only have girls, well to put pictures of my Furry son Roscoe.
This layout was given to us in a really nice bag with a T-shirt. Beatrice created the layout and everyone would copy it.
These top and bottom layouts, I bought at the auction. All the proceeds would go to the Lupas Foundation. They were both created by Beatrice. Beatrice has been diagnosed with Lupas and Tammy the store owner was nice enough to have all layouts (about 50) created by Bea auctioned off.
This Disney layout I started on Sunday and finished it off here at home. Beatrice sis a kit similar to this one but only 3 were made, so I scrap lifted the idea of the ribbons with the buttons.

These Mickey's were cut using my cricut.
Well there it is. I hope you all are not tired of this long post and I did not bore you.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back tomorrow with the crown mini album I did at the crop.

Creature

Good morning bloggers.

This morning while reading Jill's post http://chillinwithjill.blogspot.com/, she gave me an idea to post about a huge creature spotted while gardening the other day. Huge because I had never seen them this size, but really is small. You'll see what I am talking about.

Here she or he is.

So there it is.

I hope you all have a great Thursday. Our weather is now better. We had been having rain since last Friday. I hope the sun comes out again and the rain and humidity go away.

stick pins and layout

I know I have been a bad blogger lately, but I have not been in the crafting mood. Really. I did some stick pins last week and this layout was started on Friday and now is when I finished it. I have not wanted to finish it at all.

Here are the stick pins I made. I normally do 20 at a time. I am trying to fill up a pillow I bought at a garage sale. But the more I make the more I need to make. LOL. For some reason the pillow is not filling up. I will share the pillow on another post. These acrylic flowers are my latest purchase. The are acrylic but really cute. I knew when I saw them that I would be using them for my stick pin obsession. I made 3 of each but they all have different beads.

And here is the layout. I think these little girls are so cute. It reminded me of when I planted roses with my oldest. My youngest just played in the dirt. If you click on the pictures you will see them better.

Hope you all like the layout and the pins.

Will probably not post again until next week. I have a busy week ahead and a 3 day crop I will be attending this weekend to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. But this is not a day but 3 days. Can't wait.
