A Favor and Request....

Hello everyone.  I am subscribed to Gabrielle Pollacco's blog  (http://gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/) and she had a story that really touched my heart. She was requesting for us to send a card to Olivia. Her story can be read here http://stacy-scrappinqueen.blogspot.com/2011/08/cards-for-olivia-drive.html. You can go to either one of the blogs to find out more information. At Gabrielle's blog just scroll down and where you see Olivia's name you click on it. It will be in blue. To go directly to read on Olivia go to Stacy's blog.

Thank you so much and please Pray for her and her family. Last I read was that she had already had surgery and the tumor had been removed. They were waiting on when to start her treatments. You can read on that also on the blog.

baby girl onesies

Well here is the 3rd mini I have finished. I actually finished it last saturday after a crop I attended. I stayed up at night until almost 4am to finish it. It is adorable.

For this mini I used the DCWV paper stack Nana's Nursery. I hope you all like it and I will be back with the baby boy one I have also finished.

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Another mini

Good morning everyone,

Just wanted to share another mini. I finished this one in one night. I was at my wonderful desk that my wonderful husband built for me for about 8 hours straight standing and loved every minute of it. I was able to finish it in one night. Love this desk.

OK, back to the mini. I used the Heidi Grace collection SPARKLE. I had purchased it at Joanns a long time ago and used it immediately. But Mercy from http://mercyspages.blogspot.com/, found another pack for me at Tuesday Morning. Thanks Mercy your so sweet to had done that for me. I knew when I started this mini I would use this collection. Love it.

Here are the pictures.

I hope you all enjoy it.

Thank you all for the sweet comments you left me on my first mini.

My 1st mini

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share my 1st Mini Album. Yes, you read right. I was never into mini albums. I would always admire so many, but could not understand how to incorporate so many embellishments into a mini. Well, one of the last crops I went to I decided to cut out some minis and the papers. Thanks to Marlene that inspired me. Once I came home from my trip and had things back to normal I began to create.  I have made 4 minis since last week. I am hooked. As you can see I get hooked on things easily.

The page on the left has 3 tags for pictures on the front and journaling on the back.

These next 2 pages has tags for pictures and journaling. The left side has 3 and the right side has 2.
Here I have made 2 tags for larger pictures and the right side has 5 tags. They are tucked on the top and bottom of the ribbon.

These are some of the tags that are tucked behind either ribbon or paper.
Here is the close up of the flowers I cut out from the sheet of pattern paper. The paper line I used is DCWV Lemon Flower Stack.

I will be back with another post of the other minis I have finished.

New and improved

Hello blogger friends.

I wanted to post some pictures of my new and improved work area. My hubby (greatest man on earth), built me this table top about 3 months ago. I wanted the desk to be counter height  because I like to scrap standing. But he was hesitant. He kept telling me that he did not want me to regret it later. Well, NO REGRETS. I love it. He built the front part so that I can now store my red cricut, my sewing machine (which had been in hiding), my punches and some other goodies that had also been hidden. The back section is the target bin holder and then he built the top section for more goodies. Those bins under the desk are things I rarely use or only use during the holidays. They hold halloween, christmas etc.

well here it is:

Here is my workstation. I rarely sit, but if I choose to I have these stools that are super comfortable.
This is the other side. If anyone comes over they can stand or sit on this side and create. I have on this side my mini albums, (finally started one and now have finished 3 in 4 days), displaying them.
Here is a close up of my workspace. Yes, it usually is cleaned up. I am very organized even when I am scrapping. Even though now that I am standing I am taking more things out and not putting them away until I am done with the project.
Here is the other side without the minis.
This is the front part my hubby built. It is now holding my red cricut, sewing machine, punches in the 4 baskets, magazines and an art bin holding my embellishments for when I attend crops. The green crates on the side hold some of my 12 x 12 cardstock (easy access when I am creating) and the bottom one holds my 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock.
This is the other side under the table. I don't use the goodies in these bins all the time, but if I need them I have easy access to them.

So this is my latest addition to my room. I love the counter height table. I love it so much I have been staying up at nights scrapping away. I find it is alot more comfortable for me. I do not have to stand up and sit down everytime I need something.
