4th of July decorations

Hello blogging friends. I hope you all have had a great week so far. I have been super busy with house chores, crafting and decorating for the 4th. I am also getting ready for the first scrapbooking garage sale one of the local scrap stores is having. I will be selling tons of things I have double or an abundunce of or just know I will never go back to and use.

Here is my dining room table decorated. I did not go all out, 1. because I don't own many things to decorate with and 2. I did not feel like spending too much money on it. LOL. Go figure. Who am I kidding about number 2? What woman doesn't want to go out and spend money? I really did not find many things to be able to place on the table as decoration.

Hope you all like what I did.

These napkins were white and I painted them with red stripes. I followed the tutorial from this blog: http://twoshadesofpink.blogspot.com/. She has some really cool ideas for decorating. I added some blue fiber and then a gold star button from my stash.

The bird houses my husband painted for me and then made the bases out of pvc and painted them.

Here is a close up of the napkin with the fiber and star button.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

more layouts

Here are some more layouts:

This Disney one I saw online somewhere, but can't remember where.

I won't post more layouts even though I have plenty to, but I do not want to bore you all. These are also  going with me on the cruise to put together. The images are cut but nothing is glued down. I will be finishing these on the cruise.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far.

I'm Back

Hello bloggers,

I am finally back. The Heat have their second NBA title and today was the parade. I did not go to see them but I was hooked on the TV until 2pm that it finished.

So, now that I am back I will share a couple of things that I have been up to. I am preparing for 2 crafting garage sales. I have cleaned out some of the things that I know I will not be using and plan on selling. I have 2 huge bins, plus my baby cricut with the rolling bag and some matts to go with it for sale. One garage sale is on saturday June 30th at The Scrapbooking Depot and the other one is on August 11th at the other local store.
The second thing that I am preparing for is the Cropping Cruise in October.  I know it is a couple of months away, but I have been preparing kits to take so that I don't get bored or have to buy things that I will not need or really want. Here are some of the kits I have put together 37 to be exact. No I will not post 37 pictures. LOL. Nothing is glued together or glued down or embellished. Only the images are cut with the cricut and the matts and papers have been chosen. I have the parts inside the ziplock bags and the papers inside the album sleeves. I took a picture of each layout and then put that picture inside the bag so that I can remember how they go.

I am also busy with other crafts. I will be back with those pictures later on this week. I hope you all have a great week.

Finally

Well we have finally won. Our Miami Heat are the NBA Champions. WOO HOO. I could not be any happier. Thanks to Lebron James and the other players Miami has another championship.

Here is Lebron with his well deserved trophy. He has struggled to get here, but he has proven that he is a champion.

CONGRATS TO THE HEAT.

So now that I can put to rest the Basketball games I can pick up were I have left off.
I will be back with a couple of things that I have been doing.

But for now I will celebrate with a huge smile on my face and jumping up and down of joy.

Special Gift

Hi everyone. I am super excited today because today may be the last day to watch basketball. My team, well the Miami Heat has won 3 of the last 4 games in the finals. They are one win away from the Championship. And tonight, I am hoping is the night. After today, then I will be back to the blogging world. I will not blog as often because I am preparing for some new and exciting things happening in my life. Thank God for Him and Blessing me and my family.

Ok, back to the reason I wanted to blog today. Sherry over at http://createology.blogspot.com/, sent me a gift. This is the cutest little thing I have ever seen. Sherry and I met a couple of months back and since have become good blogging friends. She lives in California and I live in Miami, but seem to be close at heart. She made these super duper cute thread catchers and she was so sweet to had send me one. Of course she made it for me in PINK. The perfect color for my room. When I received it, I had it on my desk for a couple of days, putting different things in it, but nothing seem to fit right or suit me. But then I really thought about it and new it had to stay on my desk and hold something that I use daily.

Here is what I thought was the prefect thing that I use daily and fit perfect. I mean it could not have been any more perfect. The glue bottle is the perfect fit and something that I use daily on my projects.

Thank you Sherry for thinking of me when you made these.

I will be back soon with some new things I have been working on. Lets hope the Miami Heat win tonight and I can go back to my crafting full time. GO HEAT!!!!!!!

Off to the Finals

Well, this is not a crafting post, but it is what I have been up to lately. If you read my previous post, you know that The Miami Heat Basketball team needed one more win to get to the finals. Saturday night was the 7th game and we needed this win. We won 101 to 88 and they are off to the finals.

Here are some of the pictures of the game showing what the 3 key players did to make this possible.

This next picture is of Lebron James and Dwayne Wade after the game being interviewed.

Congrats to the Heat for pulling it off and making it to the finals.

The HEAT is on.......

Woo Hoo, can you believe the Miami Heat basketball team is back on. After 3 loses in a row they have made a huge come back. They won the first 2 games at home, lost the next 2 at Boston and the lost the 5th at home again. Traveled back to Boston only to show them that they are here and that they can do it. And that they did. Lebron James scored a high 45 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and there was no stopping him. He was on fire. I am so happy we are back in Miami for game 7. I am so stinking excited I want to scream. I have been busy watching all the games every night. Not only the Heat but the others, just to see what they are up against in the Finals.

Here is Miami Heats dream team.

Lebron James with his spectacular slam dunk.

And here is the MVP player of the 2011-2012 season.

I know this post had nothing to do with crafting, but this is one of the main reasons I have been MIA. I usually craft at night, but not when our Red Hot now White Hot Heat are competing for a spot in the finals.

GO HEAT.
