Halloween layout

I am back with a new layout. I have been paper piecing for the past 2 years and love it more and more everytime I create a new layout. I purchased these cute little kids dressed up for Halloween from http://www.myscrapchick.com/. They have some awesome patterns.

I hope you all like it.

Here is the 2 page layout.

I hung some halloween confetti from the roof overhead to make it seem like they are lights. I used to hang some lights like this in my home and that is where I got the idea from. I did the same with the pumpkins on the tree. I put them through some wire and glued them down. At the end of the ones on the roof I put a brad to give it the effect of a nail.
This view is of the cobblestones I cut out and put on the sidewalk. Here is the door with some spiders crawling on it, one window and the glittered pumpkins. I used the Martha Stewart scissors for the grass.

The tree is from mini monsters cricut cartridge. The bats I had purchased from the dollar store last year.
Close up of the little kids dressed up with the trick or treat bags. I had these bags in my stash from Jolees.
Since I was only going to have room for one matt (one picture in a two page layout) I decided to make one of the books. It will now hold 4 photos.
One side of the of the booklet.
Other side of the photo booklet.

I hope you enjoy the layout as much as I have creating it. I will be back with some pictures of my home decorated for Halloween.

acrylic Halloween album

Yes, I made another Halloween album. I love, love Halloween. It is the day I was married and love everything and anything about it. The candy (my favorite), the costumes, the festivities and most of all my Anniversary.

This album is acrylic. I did use alot of embellishments as usual and love the way it came out. Even though it has alot and I mean alot of embellishments I still managed to include lots of matts for pictures. Alot of the matts are 4 x 5.

Here is the mini.

Love all the charms. I have had a blast learning from Marlene. You can see her amazing work at: http://www.uniquelyella.blogspot.com/. I included a bottle with green glitter, a spooky sign, candy corn, pumpkin and just some dangling beads.
This is my front cover. I used lots of bling and some acrylic flowers I found on ebay. Super cheap, 50 for $2.00. The pumpkin is felt and so are the witches shoes and hat from Joanns and Michaels. The face is a rub on. Super cute. The title is from Target. I bought it last year from the $1 section
This page has a ghost that actually glows in the dark. Super cute from Michaels. I layered 3 flowers on a black one and put some bling. The page on the right has 3 tags. The tags are tucked behind a paper I cut out and then embellished with lots of pumpkins and flowers. The pom pom trim is also from Joanns.
Here I have 2 tags that I stamped on. The Happy Halloween is from Michaels. I folded over the black sheet of cardstock and tore some of it and the pieces not torn I made some stitching marks with my white gel pen.
This idea I got from Youtube: pinkaboo6691. She is amazing. Her minis were definitely my inspiration. I used soda can caps, glued them down with my hot glue gun and braided it with some satin lime green ribbon. I placed to tags behind the ribbon, but there is space for atleast 3 or 4 more tags. I did bend the soda caps a little to make room for more tags. The flowers on the bottom are to hold the tags from falling through. Some of the flowers I glimmer misted.
This is one of my favorite pages. I made a folder that opens up and down. It came out super cute. The skeletons are from Michaels, I stickled them with red and then put glossy accents on top.
This is the inside of the folder.
This is another folder for photos. It has for 5 photos.
 Folder opened.
The Haunted house is from a sheet of paper I cut it out and glued it on the bottom of my page. I put some ghost coming out of the windows and door. I put glossy accent on the windows and the swirl on the left side. I finished it off with some pumpkins and flowers. Behind the house are 2 full size matts.
This page has alot going on. I cut the calderone and the ghost using my cricut. I put glossy accent on the calderone and then painted some green spots to make it seem as if the potion was dripping out, I then stickled it and put more glossy accents on top. The little pompom balls are from joanns dollar section. I used alot of bling. Some of the bling I connected to make bubbles. There are 2 tags tucked behind. There is space for a atleast 3 more tags since I popped up the calderone.

This last page was super fun to make. I cut the pocket using the cricut. I placed 3 tags inside the pocket. The flower is made with dryer sheets. I glimmer misted it and place a pebble on top with a witch behind it. The pebbles are super fun to make. I used black bling and a lace trim that I bought at Yeya's store, http://www.2creativechics.blogspot.com/.

I really like the way this album came out. Super cute and fun to make. Hope I have inspired you to make your own.

tiny mini album

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you an album I made using the paper line Phantom  from Yeya's store: http://www.2creativechics.blogspot.com/. She has some awesome goodies. The laces, ribbons, bling, paper pack and stamp set called PHANTOM and other embellishments even the chipboard mini is from her store. If there is something you want and do not see it in her site, just email her.

I embossed these two tags using the stamp set that coordinates with the paper line PHANTOM.
This is a folder that opens and you have room for 4 pictures.
Here is the closed folder. The other side has one matt and two small tags for journaling. They are tucked behind the transparency with the bling on it.
These are the tags and matt. I embossed SPOOKY with the stamp set. The tags are cut out using the paper line.
This page was so much fun to make. It has 2 tags. I embossed the words witches brew using the stamp set.
This page  has 3 tomb stones that I cut using my cricut.I embossed 2 of them and the one that reads RIP is stickled and then I put glossy accents on top. I also stickled the blood dripping down and put glossy accent on that as well.

This booklet has for 2 photos and another tomb stone and 2 tags tucked behind the transparency.
This page has 2 more tags for photos and journaling. The purple flower is from oriental trading (like 4 years ago) the red flower was made with dryer sheets and glimmer misted in apple red and the center is a glass pebble you usually use for plants. I put dome glossy accents on the image and then pressed down the pepple. Once it dried, I cut around the paper.
This ghost on this page were also cut using the cricut.   The tags go tucked behind the fence.

This last page I embossed the skull and the word spooky is from the scrap left over.  I glued it down to a piece of cardstock and cut around it and then put glossy accent on it.

I hope you enjoy the mini and you can get inspired to make one yourselves. I will be back with another one I have almost completed. Also Halloween, but this time I used an acrylic album.

Girl overalls

Hello everyone. Here is the girl version of the overalls. It has lots and lots of lace, bling, trims, pearls and places for photos and journaling.

The front cover has 2 photo matts inside the pocket.

I did the binding with tulle in baby pink. I hung lots of fun charms from it.

This is a close up of the charms. I love how they look hanging from the minis. It gives it character I think.

This flower is made out of ribbon. I wanted to make something different and I played around with the ribbon turning it back and forth and this is what I came up with.

The page on the left side: I cut out a flower from the left over paper and glued it on the bottom, then tucked 2 photo matts and 2 tags behind the flower. The right side has 2 photo matts behind the pocket I created.

On this page I cut out a flower from the extra sheet left and I glued down the top part of the flower and the bottom part. I then made 3 photo matts to slide under the flower.

This page has a small booklet for photos. It has for 5 photos.

I left the last page blank. I added some pearl flowers, a flower from a ribbon strip and then some pearl bling.

The album and some of the trims are from Yeya's online store. http://www.2creativechics.blogspot.com/.
