Easter decorations 2013
Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far.
Here are some of the Easter decorations I put up this year.
Hope you all enjoy them as much as I am.
The big bunny is a new addition. I adopted him 2 weeks ago from TJ Maxx. He is adorable. The small bunny basket along with the green dish holding the eggs I picked up at a garage sale $1.00 each. The duckies on the platter are also from a yard sale, could you believe they were 25 cents each.
These bunnies in the bowl are from the dollar store. I picked up 4 and thought they would look so cute inside the dish with the grass and the jelly beans. Oh, and those pink glasses were also from a yard sale. There is a story behind them though. I went to the yard sale (a neighbor which I had never met) and asked the price, no one could tell me because she had gone inside the house upset because her husband had passed and she needed to move. So I told her sister that I wanted them to let me know later and showed her where I lived. About a passed by and I saw her at the nail salon and asked her how she was and about the glasses. She said she had no idea where they were because her sons and daughter had donated everything left to the good will. Well another month or so passed and when I got home one day they were sitting on my front porch. At first I wondered if it was something dead or a bomb because there was no note, but as soon as I opened up the box I knew what it was and who they had come from. I love them and will cherish them forever. I was very touched by her remembering me. So thank you Ana for the lovely and beautiful glasses, but most of all for thinking of me.
The basket is new and the eggs were picked up at a yard sale 2 years ago. I wish not that I would have bought all the ones they had.
The bunny with the eyes covered was also adopted from TJ Maxx. He is adorable.
These 2 bunnies are also from the dollar store. I was surprised our dollar store had so many cute bunnies. Now I am on the hunt for some chickies.

Sherry is a blogging friend, http://createology.blogspot.com/. She does some amazing work. So please go check her blog. Here is what Sherry made for me.
Then there is Sherry Wolfe which I met through youtube. Her channel is Sherry Wolfe. If you get a chance go check out some of the things she has created.
Here are the goodies she sent me.
Hope you all have a great rest of the week.
Our weather here in sunny Florida is cold. Well for me it is great. I love the 60 degrees we have been having, if only it would stay this way for atleast one month. But the sun is so hot here, you can't feel the cold. If you go out in a bikini you will literally be sun burned. LOL. Seroiusly.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting.

new project
Here is a new project I created from a magazine I purchased. The magazine is Delight in the Seasons by Lisa M pace.
Here is my project.
Here is the one in the magazine with the one I made next to it.
here is a close up of the bird with the glittered eggs.
Our weather has been all over the place this week. Cold in the early morning and by 9am it is in the 80's then by 6:30pm it is back to the 60's. Crazy, but they are predicting cold weather all day for the Super Bowl. Can't wait.
By the way are you all ready for the Super Bowl? I am. Although my Pittscburgh Steelers are not playing I am still excited to watch the 2 brothers go face to face. Who are you routing for, the San Francisco 49'ers or the Baltimore raven?

Valentines Day Mobile
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Here is a mobile I created for valentines Day.
I cut each heart out with my spellbinder grand calibur. I cut the 3 different sizes and then glued wah one to the fishing string. I also added some beads.
The 3 birds were a great find and price at Joanns. 19 cents. I painted each one in pink and then added some seed beads. One is pink, one is silver and this one showing has multi colors.
This cutie is also a great find at Michaels. Only 59 cents. Best part he is pink. Perfect for my scraproom.
This wreath was a gift from a youtuber. I painted it white and then added the sprays and pink flowers.
Hope you guys like it. I will be back with some more things I am working on.

Stick pin cushion and pins
Good morning everyone,
Well I have another stick pin cushion and pins done. This time they are not for me. I am in a one on one swap with Muriel on youtube. We decided to do a swap for January since the holidays were so busy.
Here is what I made for her.
I blinged up the house with lots and lots of swirly rhinestone pieces. The roof is covered with tiny flowers I glued one by one and then stickled. Sorry I did not take pictures of it. Forgot and it is all packaged up ready to be delivered to Muriel.
Isn't this bird the cutest. He is resting in his nest. I added some lace and trims to the house .
If you click onthe picture you will see on the right hand sided a little bird charm hanging. There are 20 stick piins. Most all of them have either a flower or a butterfly.
After all it is a garden themed pin cushion.
Look closely at the tiny tiny lady bug. I just had to add it. I added the fence and then some styrofoam to be able to display the stick pins.
I am hoping she likes it. It is different than what I have done before. Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment.

Reason for being MIA
Hello my blogging friends. I am so sorry for being so MIA for so long, but unfortunately my MOM passed away a month ago and it has been tough for us all. We are now busy keeping my father entertained and busy so that he does not go crazy like he says.
But the reason for my post is to show my home decorated for the Holidays. Although it was tough and my husband and I went back and forth on whether to decorate or not, we decided to when my Dad asked me if I was going to put the village up this year. I told him I had no intentions to and he asked why? I told him I just did not want to and he said but I should, so I did since we were all getting together here at my home for Thanksgiving.
I put 7 trees up this year, one in each room. Here are the decorations around my home. I could not post every picture since they would be too many, so here are quite a few.
Scrap room tree
These are the only photos I have been able to post. For some reason they are telling me that I have used up all the space I have and can't upload anymore. If anyone knows how I can fix this, please let me know.
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you all have a wonderful day. If I am not back this month, Have a Very Merry Christmas.
