lots of different things

Well what can I say? I have been up to so many different things that I don't know which one to post first. I have been crafting, organizing, cleaning, planning and returning. Oops, forgot, most importanly SHOPPING. Yes, I admit, I am a shopaholic. My husband says that I always find an excuse to buy something. HEE HEE HEE.

Lets start with crafting:

These are some layouts I did of my girls when they were younger. They are now 22 and 20. Boy do I miss when they were this small.

I added some bling to my white expression. Maybe I'll bling up my red one too.

Here is another lamp shade I played around with last night. I put some pretty lace with rosettes around the bottom part, a organza with satin ribbon in the middle on the top and then glued down some pink pearl beads and some flowers.

This dress form I bought at a goodwill when Marlene and I went to craft tuesday at Dale's house. I have not finished it, but I have set it aside since I don't know what to do to it. I put some pearl swirls on it and they cannot be seen. When I come across something to put on it I will do so. For now she will be standing on my shelf half done.

Organizing:

I put some of my pretty laces in the basket.

Here I had my two cricuts, but since I returned my E2, then I put my white one back where it was. I placed my cuttle bug on the top and a basket that holds its folders.

Cleaning:

As usual, I clean daily. Whether it is laundry, ironing ( love it), bathrooms, furniture or floors.  Their is always something to do around a house. And I almost forgot, the yard. I have moved around the furniture and plants in my back yard and bought some tables and pots for more plants.

Planning:

We have finally finished putting together a trip. We have been back and forth on what to do and where to go and the cruise has won. We will be going on another 7 day cruise at the end of July. It will be the first time we go on the ship Allure of the Seas. It is one of the latest ships that Royal Caribbean came out with.  We are both super duper excited. Can't wait.

Returning:

Well I am a little sad to say that I have returned my Expression 2. Since day one I have been having problems with it. The blade would not end its cut where it started it. The blade housing was very wobbly. I had to insert my cartridges backwards and the buttons on the screen were on the opposite sides. I was trying to follow videos from youtube, blogs and even cricut website and things would not come out like they showed, until I realized my buttons were on the opposite sides that everyone elses were on.
So, after several emails and phone calls, cricut decided it would be best for me to return it for a refund. So last week I said Goodbye to my E2 and had it shipped back to HSN.

And then last but not least SHOPPING:

What girl does not love to shop? I know I do. So I have been purchasing things here and there. Here are some more flowers I bought.

I bought this cute 2 tier basket at a garage sale for $1.00. The shoes were also $1.00 each pair. I plan on making a pin cushion out of the ballet slippers. The slippers came with a flower in the front, but I took them off and plan on putting a cuter one.

These are some more flowers I bought. I love the purple ones. For some reason I love anything purple now.

These are the clear ones. I now have them in clear, blue and of course pink.

Now for my latest obsession:

I have been making stick pins and charms.  I thought I would never say this but I am hooked. I have been making these like crazy. I love it. Can't seem to want to stop making them. Here are a few that I have made.

For now I am using my sea turtle as a pin cushion. I did buy the ballet slippers with the intentions of filling them in with cotton stuffing and fabric and putting the pins in them. we will see how they come out. I will share once I have them done.

I have only made a few of the charms, because I am having a hard time with the all the twisting and turning. But once I get the hang of it I know I will be hooked.

I know this has been a long post, but I had so many things to share. Hope you have a great day.
