Another mini

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone has had a great week and is ready for the weekend. I know I am. I am having some renovations done in my laundry room. Thank goodness. I love doing laundry and ironing but did not have the prettiest room around. It was very functional but I wanted it to look nice as well. So my husband has put his skills to work and he has been working on it this week and will continue on the weekend.

OK, back to the reason for my post. The reason for my post is to share another mini I have just finished. I started it on Saturday or maybe Sunday and finished it last night. I did not work on it for long, just an hour here and there. I used the butterfly garden collection from pinkpaislee. Love that collection. I also used the DCWV Mariposa collection for some of the matts and tags. I used a Tim Holtz album that Kathryn gave me. And then some of my embellishments from my stash. To get the crackle effect on the chipboard front and back covers I used rangers crackle paint, but the cracks were super tiny and hated it. So I watched Terrie's video on youtube: (onecraftycookie), and loved how the cracks came out. So I left the original paint I used, applied elmers glue on top let that dry alittle and then added white acrylic pain. The crack scame out great. Super nice and alot cheaper than using the rangers crackle paint.

Here is the album. I hope you all like it. I will be selling this one as well as all the others I have. I have not posted the other bib one I made because I do not want to bore you all with another bib album.

This is the front cover.
Here are the charms I hung from the album. Most of them are butterflies. Tied some bows from the rings using tulle.
The bigger flowers were white, but I used my glimmer mist (3 different covers) to get the color I wanted.
I used seam binding to hold closed the album.
When you open the front cover this is what you will find. It is perfect for journaling. I outlined it with some golden yellow color pearls and added a butterfly.
This first page I only added some butterflies I cut with my spellbinders. The paper was so pretty that I did not want to cover it.

This is the last page. I made a booklet for 8 pictures. It opens from the left, the right and then up and down. I saw the video on youtube, (sherrywolfe) the video with the mini purse shows the booklet.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and don't forget to leave a comment. I love reading them.

Like always, I can't believe how many spots for photos you made happen on this mini. Love, love, love the crackle treatment in the cover and the ribbon closure is so delicate. I LOVE the pink paislee collection. The colors and designs are so wonderful. It's too bad they discontinued it. I was never able to get the 12 by 12 of that. They sold out everywhere!. Great job like always Ana! We're going to have to plan a crop in March!

Ana, this mini is gorgeous! I couldn't get around to using my Mariposa paper so I had to get another pad!! LOL. My favorite page is the one with the 2 small calendars.... at least that's what they look like.

TFS.
